Vivian earned a B.A. in Literature and Music from Bard College in the US. She later obtained an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Chicago.
With 5 years of teaching experience, Vivian has taught the following subjects:

Vivian encourages her students to be curious and independent thinkers, while fostering critical thinking skills. Her diverse background and experience collaborating with students from different cultures enable her to create a comfortable learning environment.
Vivian has taught in a variety of settings, including US Liberal Arts Colleges and an education institute in Beijing. She is highly dedicated to integrating the LAMDA syllabus within her drama lessons. Her TESOL certification from the US and her training in Composition Theory at Bard College further demonstrates her commitment to educational excellence and her adaptability to different learning environments.
When Vivian is not working, she enjoys spending time at home reading or visiting art museums to relax. She also loves attending symphonic concerts and operas and playing games on her Switch.
Through her studies, she gained a deep understanding of the importance of critical thinking and active questioning in reading. This fueled her desire to inspire a love for literature in others, which led her to become a teacher and guide her students in developing their own personal connection with literature.
