Gladys Cheung

Gladys Cheung is a highly qualified professional with a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology & Biotechnology from the University of Hong Kong. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the same university. Gladys is a registered medical laboratory technologist with extensive experience in research lab and medical lab settings.

Gladys’s journey to becoming a teacher is a result of her passion for education and her experience in the health sector. She started as a college student tutoring in Science, where she witnessed the transformative power of education in igniting students’ passion and confidence. Her tenure as a health inspector in the government further fueled her desire to educate and empower others to improve their well-being. Teaching has been a consistent thread in her career in Hong Kong and Canada.

After a successful career in the medical field, Gladys shifted her focus to teaching. She has been teaching Science, English, and Math for the past 10 years to students of all levels in both local and international schools. Gladys is an expert at creating engaging and effective learning environments for both individual and group settings. She has a proven track record of helping students improve in more than one grade in three months and achieve the best ranks. Some of her students were successfully admitted to top schools in Hong Kong, such as St. Paul’s College.
