She is keen to promote the interdisciplinary nature of all studies and the transferability of skills. Her aim is to provide the necessary analytical, interpretative, and literary skills for across-the-board success in her exam subjects.

She has been teaching English, History, and Art for over 20 years, in a wide variety of educational settings including local and international schools.

Heather has taught the following subjects:

  • IB, IGCSE, A-Level, AP. English Language, Literature, History, Visual Arts, and Philosophy
  • HKDSE English Language and Literature. Art
  • IBMYP, KS2-3 English
  • CEE 11+ and 13+ and 6th Form entrance exams.

As lifelong student of history, Heather is keen to foster an awareness of the past and how it continues to shape our lives. In this way she also seeks to demonstrate that school is not only about exams and tests. It’s about the students themselves and their place in the world.

Heather has helped many students gain the highest grades and attain places in top-tier schools and universities in the UK and other overseas locations.

Heather provides a positive, non-judgmental learning environment in which students can freely explore new ideas and perspectives and arrive at insightful connections and sound evidence-based knowledge.
