Eric Allen(Admissions Consultant)
M.B.A. The Wharton School of Business
B.A. Brown University
Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brown University and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was a Robert Toigo fellow. His previous commercial experience includes working for GE Capital, where he was a Senior Vice President. Eric also worked in consulting at Accenture and co-founded and successfully sold a pharmaceutical software company, New World Science & Technology, Inc.
At Wharton, Eric was a student admissions officer, where he reviewed applications of prospective MBA students. In addition to his role in admissions, Eric was a leadership fellow and held leadership roles in several on-campus clubs. Eric is a former alumni interviewer for The Wharton School and Brown University.
Eric lives in Maryland with his wife, twin girls, and two rambunctious Labrador retrievers, Simba and Nala. He is very active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Man of the Year in 2012 in DC), and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as both diseases have personally touched his family. He is a die hard Baltimore Ravens fan (can anyone say world champs) despite spending some formidable years cheering on the Cleveland Browns as they lost to the Denver Broncos in the late 80s – don’t judge me.
