David believes the learning experience should be enjoyable and ultimately inspire the student regardless of their age.
David Boyd-Thomas received his B.A. in English from the University of Toronto Trinity College, and English TESOL from Siam Technology College.
With six years of experience teaching at the primary and secondary levels in both government and private schools as well as private tutoring centres, David believes the learning experience should be enjoyable and ultimately inspire the student no matter their age to achieve a goal or simply master a new language. Many students have surprised themselves with exam results that were above what they expected through his careful preparation and coaching.
David has taught the following subjects:

- History (IB/AP/IGCSE)
- English (SAT/SSAT/ACT)
- IELTS/TOEFL
From an early age, David was brought up to contribute to society through volunteer engagement with communities. Following a successful career in non-profit management and corporate sustainability, he has chosen to pass along my deep level of understanding on academic subjects to the next generation; while continuing to learn himself. Students have a lot they can teach their teachers!
David loves reading, visiting museums, visual & performing arts, hiking, exploring cities in his leisure time.
