Top Boarding Schools and their studentsAnnually, many of the Top Boarding Schools from America visit Hong Kong.  This year is no exception, but the problem sometimes is finding out when?  And where?

Visits from Top Boarding Schools Coming Up (in Hong Kong):

November 3-6 | The Webb Schools: According to the Claremont, California Boarding School, “From November 3 to November 6, 2015, a Webb Admission Officer will visit Hong Kong. Interviews are available upon request.”  However, we emailed them and found out that: “We are not having an information session and our interview schedule is completely booked.

November 4th | Concord Academy: The Massachusetts Boarding School will be visiting 4 Asian cities including Hong Kong.  The reception here will be at the Grand Hyatt at 6p on the 4th.  The institution which has a 2085 SAT mean score says “they will interview student applicants” along with share information about the school during this event on the 4th.


November 7th | Choate Rosemary Hall: Held at The Hong Kong Club in Central, the Connecticut Top 10 US Boarding School “will provide you with information about the boarding school experience at Choate, including an overview of the unique array of academic and extra-curricular offerings, the admission process, as well as financial aid and Summer Program opportunities. A question and answer period will follow.”

November 9th | The Hotchkiss School: On November 9th, from 5p, at The Dynasty Club – Dynasty I & II – 7/F, South West Tower, Convention Plaza, 1 Harbour Road, the competitive Connecticut boarding school will hold its’ reception and “a limited number of interviews during this recruitment trip…the Director of International Admission, Charlie Iannuzzi will be at hand.

November 11th | Blair Academy: The New Jersey Academy will be “coming to Asia to connect with alumni and parents at receptions in Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong and South Korea.” At Sevva, Prince’s Building, 25th Floor, 10 Charter Road, the Top Boarding School will hold it’s reception at 6pm on the 11th.  “Assistant Head of School for Enrollment & Communications Peter G. Curran will conduct admission interviews for prospective students at the following locations, as well as attend receptions for prospective families, current parents and alumni.”


November 12th | St. Pauls School: “St. Paul’s Admission Officers travel to many cities in the autumn and winter months and are eager to meet you and your family on the road…For more information about any of these events, reach out to the contact person for the event, call [them] at (888) 644-9611, or e-mail [them] at”  The visit will be held at The Apex 75/F Central Plaza 18 Harbour Road Wan Chai Hong Kong from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Email:

November 19th | Deerfield Academy: Pamela Safford (Dean of Admission & Financial Aid) will be coming to Hong Kong to share the details of the Top Boarding school at the Hong Kong Club, Victoria Suite, 1/F 1 Jackson Road, in Central. Fill out the deerfield receptions form on their website to guarantee your seat and “[t]he venue dress code is smart casual (No jeans, sport shoes, t-shirts allowed).”

December 2nd | Milton Academy: Just 10 miles outside of the city which is home to Harvard and MIT, Milton Academy will be coming to Hong Kong from December 2nd through the 8th.  Every year, their “admission officers travel to more than sixty cities to visit schools and meet with prospective students and parents in their home towns.”  Their goals are for their “admissions staff to get to know many of the schools and families they’ll be working with in the upcoming year ahead.
