Experience in psychology has given Samara rare insights into teaching different students with different learning styles. Creative, exuberant and approachable.
Samara graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a double minor in Psychology and Cinema Studies, and went on to get a Master’s degree in Psychology from The New School for Social Research.
With 7 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and Canada, Samara has taught:
- Test Preparation (ACT/SAT/SSAT)
- English Literature
Besides years of experience teaching test preparation, Samara has a great interest in the field of Psychology. She spent the past two years as a research assistant at the Beth Israel Brief Psychotherapy Research Centre in New York, where she led various projects. Her experience in the field has given Samara rare insights into teaching different students with different learning styles.
She has recently taken up Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Samara’s experience makes him a good teacher for the type of student is looking for an effective and engaging experience and engaging experience. She believes in working hard and daring to achieve greatness!
