Louis’s teaching style is engaging and illuminating. With his background in Philosophy and Cognitive Science, Louis is able to spell out complex ideas and concepts with utmost precision and clarity.
Louis received his B.A. in Philosophy and Cognitive Science (with Departmental Honors in both) at Vassar College. He has been a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology since 2014.

Louis’s academic interests lie in linguistic philosophy as well as French post-structuralist philosophies. His article on Jacques Derrida and 2015 interview with prominent Merleau-Ponty scholar, Mauro Carbone, were both published in the Vassar College Journal of Philosophy.
Louis, together with several intellectual friends, are currently working on an academic journal which deals with social and political philosophy as situated in the context of Hong Kong culture. It will be published in two months and will be sold in bookstores in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
